Halloween Cheesy Skulls and Tomato Soup!!
Happy Halloween! I haven’t blogged in a while but there are some exciting things in the works. I thought I would post a last minute Halloween recipe, it might be too late for this year but save it for next year because these are delicious!  These are a complete hit! I also decided to make a Youtube tutorial for this one. It’s my very first Youtube video so make sure to show it some love, I will link it below!

Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

3 TBS olive oil
2 red onions
3 carrots (peeled)
1 TBS minced garlic
5 large tomatoes
1 TBS sugar
1 TBS tomato paste
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
3 cups chicken broth
1 TBS salt
1 tsp black pepper
3/4 cup heavy cream

Heat olive oil in large soup pot over medium heat. Dice your onions and carrots then add to the oil and saute for 10 minutes, until tender. After 10 minutes add in your garlic, diced tomatoes, sugar, tomato paste, chopped basil, chicken broth, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Let the soup simmer for 40 minutes. Take the soup off the stove and add in the heavy cream. Blend the soup until smooth with a regular blender or a hand blender. Enjoy!

Cheesy Skulls

2 cans refrigerated pizza dough
shredded cheese
This skull pan or similar

Preheat your oven to 375. Spray the pan with cooking spray. Cut the pizza dough into 8 even rectangles. Place the pizza dough in the bottom of the pan and fill with shredded cheese. Cover the cheese with remaining pizza dough, making sure there are no holes where the cheese can leak out. Bake for 25 minutes or until tops are golden brown. Let cool and serve!
